Trailer Concept of Operations

The Military UAV “Trailer Concept of Operations” (CONOPS), is designed to enhance the capabilities of a three-person agile field maneuver team with a platform that supports an electrified multi-copter Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) system, providing critical overwatch capabilities. The versatile design also integrates the option to function as an air-mortar team, with provisions for additional payload and ammunition requirements. The system also supports optional drone tethering for enhanced Counter-Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities and an optional Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) for robust mission team protection in dynamic operational environments.

It all starts from the ground up with our Unique, Military Off Road chassis & Suspension system.

Our Off Road Trailers are significantly different to most other off road trailers on the market. They have been specifically designed and engineered to handle rugged off-road conditions. Unlike other Surveillance trailers that may struggle in rough terrain. These trailers are built with high-quality materials and equipped with features like reinforced chassis bracing, heavy-duty independent military suspension systems and large off-road tires to provide maximum stability and braking power. Land Force Defence trailers feature unique and innovative design elements such as extra storage space, customizable interior layouts, and 2 different interchangeable body options. All of these factors set our Off Road Trailers apart from the competition and make them ideal for customers who demand the toughest and the best.

One of the main design features of our trailer frame is the Land Force Defence Military Transport Trailer Chassis. Which uses 125 x 75 x 4mm heavy duty chassis rails that run the full length of the trailer chassis giving the body and sub frame maximum support as it negotiates rough off road terrain. The hot dipped galvanised chassis is made of laser cut box section cross members and open ended rectangular hollow section steel allowing for easy wash down and cleaning, with no closed in areas where mud, sand and salt can get trapped and cause corrosion.

The trailer chassis also comes with a rear mounted winch plate, recovery points and the ability to mount a 140 ltr water tank through the mid section of the chassis.

Sitting above the main chassis you will find another secondary chassis sub frame that supports the aluminium, monocoque trailer body.
Unlike other trailers, the M-H 4.7 U.A.V. uses a modular chassis and body constructions style. Where the body is separated from the chassis with the use of a 125 x 50 x 3mm RHS sub frame. This allows you to lift and remove the body from the chassis giving you access to wiring looms, water tanks, water lines etc for maintenance and future upgrades.

Remote off-road TRAVEL is what this trailer was made for.

Being conscious of the restricted maneuvering area on off road tracks we have carefully thought through the body design, dimensions and over all ground clearance.
Allow you to venture out into areas that conventional off road vehicles and off road trailers simply wouldn’t be able to fit.

The long sharp angle draw bar configuration also gives you an advantage over traditional A frame trailer designs by allowing you to maneuver the trailer into an over 80* jack knife position behind the tow vehicle giving you a much tighter turning circle and reversing capability off road.
By keeping the trailer dimensions within the width of most tow vehicles we have also been able to increase the maneuverability off road through tight areas, along narrow tree lined outback tracks, or through tight twisting mountain roads.

Keeping the trailer dimensions in line with the tow vehicle also improves vehicle handling and fuel efficiency. By reducing the amount of wind and drag that you are likely to encounter during higher speed on road travel.
